DIVES MED – Peeling based on mandelic acid 40%

MANDELIC PEEL 40% is a year-round peeling based on mandelic acid for superficial skin revitalization. The peeling formula works very gently on the skin causing minimal irritation, with a moderate keratolytic effect. Due to the large molecule, mandelic acid gradually penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, giving cumulative effects in long-term therapies. It causes gentle exfoliation of the superficial layers of the epidermis and effectively normalizes keratinization processes, preventing the formation of blackheads and skin imperfections. Through its moisturizing and refreshing effect, it is often used as a preliminary protocol for other care and aesthetic treatments. It restores the unique, natural and beautiful appearance of the skin, which it lost as a result of improper care or adverse effects of external factors.

COMPOSITION AND MODE OF ACTION:

Mandelic acid (40%) – AHA acid with high gradation and high safety profile, obtained from bitter almonds. It increases the proliferation and exchange of cells with a low level of skin irritation. It reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles and pores and improves the structure of the skin, thanks to the stimulation of collagen and elastin production. Wide application and effectiveness in many aesthetic problems make it one of the most commonly used peelings in cosmetics and medicine. It does not sensitize the skin's photoprotective coat to UV radiation and can be used all year round.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use in the case of:

– pregnancy and lactation

– bacterial and fungal infection within the treatment site

– viral infection of the skin, e.g. active herpes, flat warts

– skin damage and open wounds

– dermatological therapies using isotretinoin and vitamin A derivatives (up to 12 months after the end of treatment)

– hypersensitivity or allergy to any component of the formula

– active autoimmune diseases

– acute and chronic dermatoses and skin diseases

– active rosacea

– cancer, treatment with chemotherapy or radiation therapy

– tendency to hypertrophic scars and keloids

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

DIVES MED Mandelic Peel is intended exclusively for professional use by doctors and specialists in medicine and aesthetic cosmetics. Before using the acid, clean and degrease the skin using PREPEEL LOTION SPRAY 1. Protect the eyes with damp compresses, and delicate areas (corner of the mouth, eyelids, nasal flakes) with oily ointment or petroleum jelly. Pour about 2.5-5ml MANDELIC PEEL 2 into a measuring cup, depending on the size of the treatment area. Apply the cast solution evenly, with quick movements, in a thin layer using a brush. Leave on for 2-20 minutes. After absorption, consider using another layer with the possible omission of particularly sensitive or irritated areas. Use from 1-4 layers depending on the type and sensitivity of the skin, as well as indications and the desired depth of penetration. After the acid application or in case of excessive reaction, apply the neutralizing preparation NEUTRALIZING GEL 3 for 2-5 minutes, and then wash off the whole thing abundantly with cold water. Finish the treatment with a protective cream from the DIVES MED – GLOBAL REGENERATION line, which will eliminate the feeling of possible irritation and discomfort.

SIDE EFFECT:

Depending on the procedure used and the individual properties of the patient's skin, peeling can lead to irritation, redness and exfoliation of the skin.

In case of an unexpected reaction or excessive skin irritation, immediately apply DIVES MED – NEUTRALIZING GEL 3 and leave it for 4-5 minutes, then wash off with plenty of cold water.

PERIOPERATIVE RECOMMENDATIONS:

To obtain optimal results of the treatment and safe convalescence, you should:

– do not apply makeup up to 12 hours after the procedure

– immediately after the procedure, avoid exposure to natural or artificial ultraviolet radiation and the use of saunas and swimming pools

– use rich regenerating creams and high UV filters, e.g. DIVES MED – GLOBAL PROTECTION SPF 50

– in the case of a keratolytic effect, do not remove or tear off the flakes of exfoliating skin

– do not use other peeling agents and substances with irritating properties until the skin is completely convalesced

Before performing the procedure, it is imperative to conduct a medical history, exclude contraindications and obtain informed consent to perform the procedure.

The product strongly irritates the skin and mucous membranes. May cause chemical damage to the eyes. Protect from contact with eyes. If you get into the eyes, immediately wash them with cold water until the burning subsides and immediately report to the ophthalmological inspection.

Before starting the application procedure, it is necessary to protect the eyes. Patients with contact lenses should be advised to have their photo. Do not use on birthmarks, tattoos and permanent makeup. Use only on skins of phototype I-IV according to the Fitzpatrick scale. Product for external use. Do not inject or consume. 

Incorrect or inconsistent with the manufacturer's recommendations use of the product can lead to complications and side effects.

SHELF LIFE AND METHOD OF STORAGE:

Do not use the product after the expiry date and in the event that the packaging is damaged or was stored incorrectly. Store the product in its original packaging at a temperature of 15-25°C, protect against freezing and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
