As mentioned above, every emotion on our face leaves its mark on the eye area. The skin around the eyes is affected by UV radiation, stress, smoking, working at the computer, poor diet, lack of sleep and unfavorable environmental conditions.

How to prevent crow's feet?

Mimic wrinkles in the outer corners of the eyes form faster than on the skin of the eyelids, their common name is "crow's feet". They are influenced by facial expressions, crying or laughing, and with the aging of the eyelids, skin pimples appear. Well-chosen preparations for the skin around the eyes are characterized by a light, fast and absorbable consistency. Their use can delay the formation of wrinkles and reduce their number. Cosmetics should moisturize and firm the skin.

Most often they should include: wheat germ, vitamins A, E, F, provitamin B5, UVA, UVB filters, allantoin, collagen, ceramides, aloe, chamomile, hyaluronic acid, witch hazel, linseed complex, pineapple extract, papaya, calendula medical examination.

What consistency should the skin care products around the eyes be?

Preparations should be light and quickly absorbed, not too greasy. They can be in the form of a cream, gel, concentrate or serum.

Eye creams should contain active ingredients that are easily absorbed by the skin, e.g. proteins, ceramides, liposomes, herbal extracts. The cream has a heavier consistency than a gel or other emulsion, it contains more ingredients that regenerate and lubricate the skin better.

Eye gels are perfect for young people or people with sunken eyeballs. Thanks to their consistency, they do not migrate to the eyes, contain ingredients similar to those found in creams, but thanks to their consistency, they absorb faster and tighten the skin.

The eye serum is a cosmetic intended for mature skin, it usually consists of rich active biological complexes with a very high concentration (higher than in creams). The serum has a liquid consistency, thanks to which it is absorbed very quickly.

How to apply eye preparations?

Cosmetics should be applied very gently so as not to stretch the skin. The method of application is important, i.e. from the inner corner to the outer corner of the upper eyelid, and then from the outer corner of the upper eyelid to the inner corner of the lower eyelid. The preparations should be tapped gently with your fingertips.
